Unique Users

What are UNIQUE USERS?

Unique users refers to the number of people who visit a site for the first time.

How are UNIQUE USERS measured?

There are two ways to measure Unique Users. The first is using cookies. This number is calculated based on whether or not a visitor already has a cookie stored from the site in question. The second way to measure unique visitors is by looking at IP addresses. If the IP address is unique, the visitor is counted as a first time visitor.
