Website Categories

New publishers are required to categorize their site(s) so that G&R can serve more relevant ads to site visitors. A site may be matched to more than one category, though all site categorizations will be reviewed by G&R staff. Below is a list of available categories with a brief definition for each. 

Blog - a personal website on which an individual posts opinions, photos, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis. 
Business - the main focus of the site is business (commercial, industrial, or professional) 
Classifieds & Listings - short advertisements requesting or offering goods or services from a number of different groups or individuals 
Education - the main focus of the site is education (e.g. study materials, “How To” guides or videos, school or tutoring information) 
Government & NGO - any official website for a non-governmental organization or government group 
Health - the main focus of the site is health (hospital information, advice on illness, medicine use, nutrition, etc.) 
Lifestyle - the main focus of the site is lifestyle improvement (information or advice related to housing, marriage, pregnancy, exercise, etc.)
Music - live-streaming music, music downloads, mp3 purchase 
News - any online newspaper or digital version of a printed periodical 
Other - sites unrelated to any of the other categories 
Retail - online sales or e-commerce site 
Real Estate - house, apartment, or office space for sale or rent 
Sports - the main focus of the site is sports (e.g. cricket scores, football schedules) 
Technology - the main focus of the site is technology (phone, internet, computer, etc.) 
Travel - the main focus of the site is travel (flight or hotel booking, tourism information, etc.)
